Maybe I've watched P.S. I love you too many times or it might be whenever I hear an Irish accent I completely fall in love, I may have romantic notions, but this is a dream I've had since I was in high school. Just seeing pictures of the lush landscape and the scenery is enough to make me want to book the next plane to the country. Being in college has given me the resources to achieve this dream and this upcoming Fall, the dream will hopefully become a reality.

I moved to the U.S. from Australia when I was 9 years old. I am 20 now, which means I have spent more than half of my life in a country in which I have only remained a permanent resident. Although this does not in any way change who I am, it is more of a formality than anything to be able to say I live in the United States and am also a citizen. It will also make traveling to other countries a lot easier, instead of having to obtain visas.

This has been on my list since I was 15, I remember writing it down in my "list of things to accomplish in life." You would think that since I've wanted to go for so long it would have happened by now. There's just something about free faling I've always loved, and also it will be like I'm flying.
