I need to bury this debt before it gets out of control.
*Update* After a full year of 'slow & steady' this is still a HUGE goal of mine in 2012. I made some really good progress last year, and with a significant raise & new title at work I am able to dedicate more funds to achieving this goal!
I am blood type O- and therefore am the 'universal donor'. It would be extremely helpful of me to donate blood so that others, when in greatest need, can be helped. I want to start by donating a few times a year, and hopefully work towards once a month.
I want to live a healthy lifestyle and now is the time to make these changes.
**Update** Thanks to sticking to my plan so far this year I have lost 11 pounds and continue to take 2 dance classes a week. I just signed up for a Wellness Challenge at work as well. I bring my lunch almost every day allowing for the occasional lunch out, but have been very focused on adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet & I eat about 5 times a day instead of 2 or 3 large meals. I don't consider this goal completely achived yet, but I'm so much closer! **
I want to see as much of the country I live in as I can. I have already begun this journey at an early age and am more than halfway through. Now I need to continue on my quest.
I want to be debt free, and while I am very pleased with the investment and results of taking out the school loans, I now want to feel successful with paying them back.
I want to see as much of this world as I can while I'm still a part of it. Setting foot on all 7 continents would hopefully be accomplished in the process.
I highly respect Heifer International's mission and approach to giving and helping to build sustainable futures for the families in need.
I have always been musically minded and in the past have played the flute, alto saxophone, and bassoon. I really have always enjoyed the sound of an acoustic guitar and want to someday realize my desire to learn to play.
I want to spend less time watching TV and/or being online. I want to read a little each day so that I can on average read one book each month. I like to read books of many different genres and I have a stockpile of books that I have been wanting to read.
I want to stop renting apartments and instead have a house.
I need to be investing in my future while paying off the debt from my past.
I've always wanted to!
I am currently on a post-Graduate Fellowship but have heard of a new position soon to open up. This position would mean I would have a full-time job with benefits! It would be a huge step up in my career goals.
I want to feel financially secure and make the right decisions so that my future is not so unstable. I need to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
I want to purely for the experience.
I want to help others around the world work towards their dreams.
I first took spanish in 5th grade and made it through high school Spanish followed by 3 semesters in Undergrad. After that I had a boyfriend who's first language was Spanish and when spending time with him and friends, I started understanding more and more of the language. Problem is I've never felt comfortable trying to speak it conversationally. I want to complete the Rosetta Stone Spanish (Latin America) program.
