Why do you want to do this?

I want to be fluent in a language other than English. Since I will marry a Brazilian woman, Portuguese it is.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

Practice my CD Brazilian Portuguese language sessions daily. Decide if an in-class training program is best.

Review previous session regularly.

Review the written sessions at least once a week.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

Not scheduling time for the lessons.

I'm to lesson 17 using Pimselur level 1. I speak basic Portuguese with m Brazilian fiancee and she is surprised by my progress. She says she completely  understands me. My goal is to complete level 1 training by the end of March and order level 2.

 Congratulations again!  How's it coming along?  Have you reached Level 2 already?  May is not far off.

I'm now reviewing all Level 1 lessons. It's funny, but now the lessons seem so very simple. I think i've master about 95% of the lessons and my Portuguese speaking finacee understands me. That's the real test. I'll start Level 2 in April.

 Awesome!!!  Amazing progress - especially if your fiancee can understand you already now too!  Spanish, Portugese and Italian - such appealing languages.
