Why do you want to do this?
My favorite movie is "A River Runs Through It", which is the story of a family that fly fishes and lives in Montana. I have lived in Montana, and plan to live there again, so I would like to learn to fly fish and experience the joy that the characters in the movie did over a great catch.
My dad is also a fly fisherman and this is a way in which we can connect.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
Equipment: fly rod, flies, clothing, etc.
Training: I hope to take a class to learn how to tie flies, cast and clean fish after they are caught.
Time and practice.
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
Money to purchase the equipment and time to learn and practice.
