Why do you want to do this?
I have decided that 2011 will be the year to get back to me. Haven't focused on me since before the kids were born and my body has taken a toll. I know that in order to be a better wife/mother I have to pay more attention to me. 20 lbs would be a great start. I started January 1st and after 2 weeks I am down 7 lbs.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
Work out (lots of cardio) min 5 times a week
Clean out my closet - decluttering helps to clear my head and focus on my goal
Eat healthy - no bad carbs or high sugar. Healthy choices even at fast food resturants
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
I am my biggest barrier. I have to make time for me and put myself first. I have to change my thinking from 'it's selfish to take time for myself' to 'it's selfish for me NOT to take time for myself' - afterall, I am the role model my children look to for the future of their health.
