Why do you want to do this?
As I travelled around the world for 20 years, I have always rented. Now that I am settled and have a Family, I want to own a home where my Family can grow up.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
Find my Dream Home (Done - Picture is of place we intend on buying. We are currently renting with intention to buy in 9 months) We have named the house "The Maritimes"
Save Money - A Dream Home is not cheap so I have some saving to do. Thankfully will expect some bonuses this year which will help with Down Payment.
Get a Home Loan - Rates are low in the US, but I will still need to get pre-approval for a significant loan
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
Capital for the Down Payment. We have 9 months to pull it all together.
