Why do you want to do this?

I want to be in better shape and a better mood via exercise. I will use LiveStrong.com to track this.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

I will need time to exercise.

I will need DVDs and other equipment.

I will need to stay motivated.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

Staying motivated will probably be the most difficult part.

I wonder if this is a good thing to list as a goal one can accomplish by checking it off a list.

This is a fantastic goal to list!  I'm on a fitness kick this year too and looking to lose a significant amount of weight.  I'm headed to LiveStrong.com after this to check it out too.  When do you work out?  What do you like to do best?

Hi!
I'm not trying to lose weight but I am trying to gain muscle and endurance. I am underweight, have always been, which has its own problems. What I do is work out from home, after I get home from work. Lately I've been using a yoga workout DVD, but I need to switch that up. I really like LiveStrong in terms of tracking things.

Ah, I see.  A whole other ball game.  A friend of mine has the same challenges.  He uses a lot of protein in his diet to help him build muscle.  A tonne of vitamins to increase his energy levels and a regular schedule at the gym to help him maintain that muscle conditioning over time.  Do you have some freeweights at home?
