Why do you want to do this?

I think I have abused my body enough now. It's time to start taking care of me. Not just physically but also mentally and spiritually. I have not had an easy life. The key for me now is to simplify in all the right places. I need less stress so anything I can cut back on to create that for myself is good. I need better physical health, so anything I can cut out or add to accomplish that is good. I need peace, so I need to pay better attention to my spiritual life. I need to learn to balance all of these. In turn I believe I may be happier and healthier. I also believe that once this occurs things will be better for me socially also.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

I need a nutrition and exercise plan. Something simple that can fit with my busy schedule. The key work for me is "plan."

I need a support system, which in a sense I really do have but I fail to use it when I need to. So I guess I need a support system and I need to not be afraid to use it.

I need a daily prayer and meditation plan.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

Planning ahead is definitely my hugest barrier to achieving success in any of these areas. If I don't have a plan I just go for what is the easiest and not necessarily the healthiest. Also, interdependence is not one of my strong points so I need to learn to be comfortable asking for support and help. I'm sort of afraid of people in this way, like I'm gonna be a pain in the butt or something.
