Travel & Leisure: Antarctica

Why do you want to do this?

The 3yrs I spent in the US were mostly in North-East area, with one each to Iowa, South Carolina & Florida. The Golden Gate bridge was something I'd only seen in movies, and not knowing anyone on the West Coast made it seem a bridge too far.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

Funds.....From South Africa to New York/Atlanta, then onto LA. Plus we are family of 5. Ouch!

Time off work...4 days spent in the air and still need at least 7 days in California.

An itinerary that's exciting to me and the family.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

I feel it should be a multi-benefit trip- pleasure and work somehow. Pleasure I can see, but work does not take me there.
