Why do you want to do this?

This is a big one... I've barely even allowed myself to say this out loud, because it just seemed too ridiculous. I don't even know what I'd write about! But there was a time, in my younger years, when I loved nothing more than to write and I took for granted that I would write books one day. Then I grew up, "faced reality" and decided it wasn't practical. I've recently decided, though, that I'm saying to hell with practicality. I know I'm a good writer; I know I can do this. So, I WILL do it. I don't know when or how, but I will.

What three things will you need to make this happen?

Something to write about... I'm inclined to lean toward the memoir style of writing, but I'll need something to distinguish myself from the million other memoirs out there!

Time. Always, always-- time.

A publisher.

What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?

First, it's getting my head around the fact that I CAN do this. Second, it's all the practical stuff: finding the time to write, finding a publisher, etc.
