Why do you want to do this?
Because I'm besotted with them, that's why! But mostly, I feel like it's one of the ways that I express my affection for them. And when I took them into my home, it's the promise I made to them. So... I need to do the best I can.
What three things will you need to make this happen?
switch to low-dust, non-dangerous litter. (World's Best Kitty Litter or Swheat or AgriMaster non-medicated chicken feed)
gradually switch to higher quality food- figure out the right choice
help Claddagh to lose a little weight- start picking up the food after 20 minutes
What is the biggest barrier to your achieving this?
Money, I suppose. But I don't have to do all this at once.
